2015 United Way Christmas Parade Float
The United Way of Huntsville, Alabama asked me to design and build a Christmas float that replicated their logo. The hands were constructed out of plywood and 2x4s and the arch was created by bending CPVC pipe and attaching chicken wire to the frame. The entire float was supported by a sixteen foot trailer.
The Christmas lights were added to accentuate the shapes provided by the plywood and chicken wire. Christmas trees were added to the front and back of the float to finish the festive look. Everything was powered by a small generator
placed at the front of the trailer.
